Reaching your potential:

Limiting beliefs are beliefs that holds you back from reaching your potential. They cause underlying patterns of behavior that, often, we don’t even realize are there. Your response, or the way you act or perceive something is so automatic that you don’t even think about it.


If you are afraid to speak up at a meeting, or are reluctant to ask for directions or find yourself being concerned about the opinions of others, you have beliefs that are holding you back. If you have thoughts like… “wow, am I stupid”, or “I can never…” or “they’ll think I’m…” you have some negative self esteem beliefs about yourself.

Many of these deep rooted behavior patterns are developed in the early years of life… by the age of 5 or 6 years old! We then go on to live life the way we have been conditioned to act and feel without realizing the limits we placed on ourselves.

The good news is there is a very quick and easy way to rid yourself of these limits. Wait… did I say quick and easy? Here’s the way I see it: You put the limits on yourself and only YOU can rid yourself of them. When you do, you will feel that anything is possible. Also, many of your own limiting self esteem beliefs are passed on to your children, so if you can eliminate them, you are helping your children.
